This online shoebox contains random pictures, notes, whatever. I've been a professional writer-photographer for so many years now. It's a damn good excuse to carry a camera around.

While exploring the Cavite countryside recently, I came across this godawfully big dog that kept
chasing me up and down the fence.
It looked like this:

Thankfully, all it wanted was a pat on the head :)

That's the sight of a surfer gliding effortlessly over the waves of Sabang Beach.

Nalds, the long-haired surfer dude who introduced me to the board, describes the action at Baler's
world-class surfing bay as a "24-hour TV - I can sit here and watch it all day!"

The kids of Baler, Aurora, have a whole shoreline of surf to play on - and boy do they have fun from
sunup to sundown:

Found this shot while looking at transparencies from my old film days:

Its deep inside one of the caves in Cagayan. Shot with a Canon EOS 50 / Tokina 19-35mm /
Kodak Ektachrome Elite 100. Plus two flash units set to IR slave. A Sekonic flashmeter was used to
measure the flash output, and I remember having to crawl through mud and darkness to position
the lights. There were no LCD previews in those days.
This was in 1999. ELEVEN FRICKING YEARS AGO!!!!! When today's digital shooters were still cryin'
out for mama... :P
Damn I'm old... :P

The rigors of rural life are seen in this coffee farmer's face:

He remains happy though :)
