Never mind the absence of a crowd or even a proper stadium. An official ref and a basketball court are all that hoop-crazy Pinoys need to run a basketball league here in Singapore. A player from the Lutong Pinoy Cowboys team goes for the basket during one of the SingaPinoy league games, held on weekends at the Anglo-Chinese School sports centre:




In fact, most Singaporeans don't even know there's a handful of different Pinoy basketball leagues here.

Maybe its my interest in history, maybe its the cultural significance of it all. Or maybe its the influence of my mom who is an avid antique collector. Whatever the case, I am really fascinated by old things. Here are a few old, forgotten "things" in Singapore:
